I got some ideas yall might wanna hear
Well, I do!
Idea 1: Narrators.
Narrators are something I have used in several roleplays before. They are incredibly useful, and have the authority to preform various tasks.
Ever read the hunger games? Well, narrators work rather like the game makers. They are able to throw dodge balls and add turns and twists to keep everything exciting and entertaining. They normally play NPCs as well, including prey and predator items, making things realistic. They will also occasionally interject what the surrounding is when a roleplay picks up the pace and becomes a little confusing. It's their job to greet and direct new recruit to the site, and help them make there character truly realistic. The become the backbone of a roleplay after awhile. And it's not always just work for them, but they just don't have long term character- bear one day, deer the next. They also are helpful for covering whilst a player is AFK.
They do a lot of general upkeep, and I think they should be implemented.
Idea 2: Calendar Times
How I think the calander should work:
For every year in real life, 3 years pass in game. So, one month equals a season. Roughly a week and a half would be equal to a month.
Idea 3: Recruiting
I have seen a lot of general intrest in this roleplay, so I feel when we truly open up, we will gain fast. But, in a roleplay, how are we to explain the sudden outburst of wolves? Granted, the packs need to be established, but what about after? I think that we should first recruit and make a name of our selves, then once an alphess is expecting, her pack may recruit 1-7 members during a realistic pregnancy time. This way her pups are truly randomized amount. Because we will hopefully have people wanting to join, only those with lines resembling the pair may be accepted.
Idea 4: Chance of Fate
Wolves die. In most RP's I see, they die in a fight, but that's unrealistic, and seldom happens. They die from hunting, drowning, starving, sickness, age, or simply falling off a cliff. But no one want this to happen to their character. But it happens. So...
I think using something like random.org, we should enter in all the chatacters. The top 3 would be written down. Randomize again. Write the top 3. and we do this three times. If any of the top 3 come up in the top 3 twice, it's the characters death sentence.
Not fun, but still, it's interesting and realistic.
And fun
So, what do you all think?
